Role Description
This is a volunteer role for a Treasurer. The Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing the financial management, budgeting, and reporting of The Dementia Trust. This includes preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Treasurer will also work closely with the board to advise on financial decisions and support fundraising efforts. This is an on-site role located in Glasgow.
Qualifications
* Financial management, budgeting, and accounting skills
* Experience with preparing financial statements and financial reporting
* Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
* Experience with accounts payable and receivable management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
