What you will be doing
1. To work collaboratively with the team of HR Business Partners and Senior HR Business Partner to provide a full and comprehensive operational HR service to the business in order to develop manager capability, ensure HR best practice and an excellent HR customer brand is maintained.
2. To implement key HR initiatives around talent and succession planning, performance management, reward, wellness, employee engagement, policy changes, resourcing and organisational effectiveness as directed by the Senior HR Business Partner
3. To proactively track and analyse HR metrics and management information and provide recommendations for improvement to the Senior HR Business Partners.
4. To assist and execute the delivery of change management, engagement and business improvement programmes across the business to optimise business performance and enhance employee engagement.
5. To work in partnership with the case management provider to ensure employee relation matters are handled proactively and trends are identified for intervention as well as being the escalation for any high risk cases or appeals to protect the reputation of the business.
6. To develop and deliver training on HR related matters to equip managers with appropriate skills / knowledge to effectively manage their staff to meet business needs.
7. To update, maintain and promote HR systems to enhance the service provided to the business.
8. To be work collaboratively with the recruitment team to support all recruitment activity to ensure timely response and delivery.
9. To act as a champion for good people management practices which support the empowerment of line managers in people practice.
You will ideally have
10. Minimum CIPD qualified level 5
11. Broad generalist HR experience including managing relationships, performance management, knowledge of current UK employment legislation, employee relations, TUPE, redundancies & restructures
12. Knowledge of change management and ability to assist with large inter-departmental projects
13. Business and commercial awareness
14. Excellent communication skills
15. Strong presentation skills
16. High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various management teams, building effective relationships to be able to objectively challenge and influence change.
17. Ability to analyse and interpret key HR metrics and management information to diagnose business / organisation / employee relations / engagement issues
18. Continuous learning attitude in order to develop skills further for future succession planning
