What you’ll be doing
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen:
5. Support the Executive Chef and Head Chef in leading the brigade
6. Take responsibility for the kitchen in their absence
7. Deliver high-quality dishes with excellent presentation and consistency
8. Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes
9. Train and support junior members of the team
10. Monitor stock control and minimise waste
11. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
What we’re looking for
12. Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a quality-led kitchen
13. Experience within a Rosette or similar fresh-food environment
14. Strong technical cooking skills and attention to detail
15. Passion for seasonal ingredients and modern cooking techniques
16. Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
17. Positive attitude and strong leadership skills
