The role entails but is not limited to: Ensuring all compliance tasks are completed in line with regulations. Checking and monitoring of medical gases, and portable cylinders. Collecting recycling from around the Hospice and decant into the appropriate bins. Unloading stores that arrive and placing into the appropriate storeroom/location. Cleaning windows. General external ground maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing and hedge cutting etc. Driving vehicles as required. Flushing infrequently used outlets. Carry out fire drill/checking call points and fire doors. Test Emergency lighting and record findings and replace batteries/lamps as necessary. Undertake water temperature checks. Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks. Checking and the replacement of light bulbs across the site. Meeting and engaging with approved suppliers.
