Compliance Engineer – Electronics £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits Cambridge – 3 days onsite per week Start date – ASAP
Zenovo are currently recruiting for a Compliance Engineer for one of our customers in Cambridge who are looking for someone to own the product compliance/certification for battery-powered Industrial IoT devices.
This role will involve being the technical owner for ATEX, IECEx and NRTL certification as well as radio/EMC compliance in line with ETSI and FCC standards.
The Compliance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring designs, documentation, and manufacturing records meet IEC/EN/UL (phone number removed) and (phone number removed).
You will work closely with the Engineering and Operations Teams to build the compliance rationale and own all aspects of Product Compliance including maintaining hardware files, mechanical drawings, UL material evidence, labels, and safety/user guides.
Day-to-day activities
Leverage existing certification portfolio to drive new approvals from concept to listing and maintain them through follow-up inspections and change control.
Build and maintain the complete technical file for each product, using Cognidox.
Align designs to IEC/EN/UL (phone number removed) and (phone number removed)
Plan and execute ATEX, IECEx and NRTL certification activities
Draft and maintain documentation such as Safety/User Guides per IEC 60079 requirements
Lead radio compliance for CR products, including coordinating test plans
You will be responsible for the global compliance as the business continues to expand into new territories, such as Brazil, Canada, Asia, which will all require additional Compliance work. Key Responsibilities
