We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils' learning primarily working within our new Specialist resourced Provision. Our Specialist Resourced Provision supports children with cognition and learning needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with learning difficulties/disabilities in mainstream classes and small groups to enable students with SEN to achieve their full potential in school. Key Responsibilities As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery and classroom organisation Encourage pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development Help maintain a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment Support pupils with additional needs, following individual education or support plans where appropriate The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Holds a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting Is patient, reliable and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Demonstrates good communication skills and a flexible, team‑focused approach Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children For further information and to apply, please visit MyNewTerm
