About the Role

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at our Menstrie manufacturing site for a Quality Systems Lead. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our Audit Programme and Quality Management Systems, ensuring full compliance with the Kerry Manufacturing Standard (KMS), Site Food Security and Food Safety Programs, Group Regulatory policies, Product specifications, and all other Customer requirements. If you have significant experience and a deep understanding of food quality policies, procedures, and systems, we want to hear from you!

The Quality Systems Lead will provide technical systems support to the Quality, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring a standardized approach to all QMS activities on site.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the site's external and internal audit programme, ensuring audits are completed on schedule and driving the closeout of non-conformances.
* Establish a robust QMS Audit Programme and schedule covering all relevant standards, defined by risk assessment.
* Ensure compliance with external accreditations, including GSS, KSCA, FSSC, Halal, Kosher, GMP+, and non-GMO.
* Own and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS) framework, driving continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance of the QMS, Food Safety Programme (HACCP), and Allergen Management Programmes with required standards.
* Lead and support the HACCP Team, developing HACCP plans and documentation in line with Kerry Global standards.
* Manage training needs for Food hygiene standards, HACCP, TACCP & Allergens.
* Oversee direct reports, fostering their development and support.
* Generate and maintain internal quality and food safety/quality site KPIs and customer reports, providing accurate data analysis.
* Ensure an Approved Supplier Programme and Food Defence Programme are in place, with full support from Central Group Functions.
* Maintain a robust traceability procedure that is regularly challenged.
* Manage the site's Crisis Management Programme.
* Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely responses, reporting, and trending.
* Ensure all materials extended to site have necessary approvals and align with specifications.
* Build relationships with centralized functions for smooth introduction of new products/processes.


Qualifications and Skills

* Significant quality experience in the Food/Beverage/Pharma industry with a keen eye for detail.
* Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology or related field.
* Lead Auditor Qualification and familiarity with various standards.
* HACCP Level 4 (minimum).
* Food Hygiene Level 3 (minimum).
* Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills; fluency in English.
* Strong numerical ability to record, interpret, and analyze key data.
* SAP experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Proficient in MS Office tools.
