The purpose of the Payroll Coordinator is to work closely with the external payroll bureau to ensure accurate processing:
* Collating information (timesheets and the time and attendance system) for c1400 employees to be paid monthly.
* Check accuracy before submission.
* Act as the liaison between employees, management, and the external bureau.
* Handle employee queries about payslips, deductions, or benefits.
* Investigate discrepancies, resolve disputes, and manage exceptions (e.g., maternity leave, sick pay, terminations).
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
* Previous payroll experience is essential.
* Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
* You will be disciplined and self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative.
* The ability to identify and drive change is required.
