At Green Fox Cleaning, our Portsmouth office is seeking an experienced and highly reliable Operations Supervisor to join our rapidly growing team and assist in the management of our school and educational premises contracts.
You must hold a full UK driving licence with your own vehicle (paid milage).
You'll be overseeing our sites in the Portsmouth, Gosport, Waterlooville, Havant, Chichester and surrounding areas, ensuring that our cleaning standards remain high across the board.
Due to the nature of the commercial cleaning sector, you will be working core hours of 13:00-21:00 Monday to Friday totalling 30hrs per week, with some occasional earlier starts and 1-in-3 on-call weekends paid as overtime.
First class leadership skills and team working ability with excellent communication skills are essential to succeed in this role. To meet our clients cleaning standards and expectations, previous supervision experience in any field will be vital to be successful in this role.
You'll be working closely with the Portsmouths Operations Manager, Cleaning Supervisors, Cleaning Operatives and Administration team to include the out of hours on-call team to help deliver an unrivalled local commercial cleaning service,
You'll also be responsible for carrying out site audits, new employee inductions and to check that all sites are cleaned to the clients and Green Fox's high standards.

Key role responsibilities:
* Deliver a top level contract cleaning service delivery to all clients.
* Induct and train new staff.
* Conduct regular site quality audits.
* Oversee operations at customer sites.
* Manage and supervise cleaning teams.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improvement.
* Ensure health and safety standards and compliance with regulations
* Conduct training and manage the performance of cleaning staff.
* Deal with general HR and performance issues.
* Maintain regular customer contact
* Maintain regular contact with site teams for awareness of site-specific requirements
* Provide feedback on performance and manage arising issues.
* Ensure sufficient amounts of cleaning equipment, materials, and consumables on-site.
* Ensure customer sites are fully staffed, including absence and holiday cover.
* Work in conjunction with the Directors and the Operations Manager to ensure continual improvement and growth from satisfied client referrals.
* Implement eco-friendly cleaning practices and promote sustainable solutions
