We're seeking a highly organised Accounts Assistant to join on a permanent basis. This varied and hands-on role will involve managing key aspects of the accounts function, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the financial operations of the company run smoothly, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Purchase Ledger
* Assist with purchase ledger activities, including matching invoices to delivery notes and purchase order values, and posting transactions to Sage.
* Prepare and post client sales invoices in Sage.
* Support sales ledger tasks such as credit control communications, processing remittances, and debtor reporting.
Reconciliation & Reporting
* Complete accurate reconciliations for credit card purchases, expenses, petty cash, and foreign currency transactions.
* Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports as required.
