As a Robotics Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be working behind the scenes, orchestrating the magic that brings our robots to life. You’ll rub elbows with the production and deployment teams, witnessing a robot come to life and be released from its nest. From tinkering with sensors to jazzing up their functionalities, you’ll be the ultimate robot whisperer.
Please note: this is a full‑time position onsite five days per week at our Wallingford location.
Key Responsibilities
* configuring sensors and other devices to be used when robots are built
* creating tools and processes to improve the checking routines of new robots
* fully configuring and calibrating new robots and testing their functionalities
* closely interacting with other teams and proposing changes to make our robots better
* playing with real‑life robots every single day
Qualifications
* fresh‑faced graduate with a degree in anything robotics‑related
* proficient in coding – brush up on your C++ and Python skills
* familiar with ROS
* basic know‑how of electronics and mechanical engineering
* ready to ride the rollercoaster of constant changes and challenges
* genuine love for robots
* rigor and carefulness – our robots deserve nothing less
