Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Familiarity with the UK A:Level examination board specifications.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness for one)

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the A:Level Sociology curriculum.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing constructive feedback.
* Monitor and track the progress of all students, implementing effective intervention strategies where necessary to close attainment gaps.
* Manage and maintain a positive, orderly, and disciplined learning environment in the classroom.
* Contribute to the continuous development of the Sociology curriculum and departmental resources.
* Participate in departmental and whole:school meetings, as well as the schools professional development programme.
* Undertake pastoral duties as a form tutor, supporting students academic and personal development.
* Prepare students effectively for all public examinations, including providing revision sessions.
* Maintain accurate and up:to:date student records, including attendance and academic performance data.
* Engage in extra:curricular activities or enrichment programmes that support the sociological interests of students.
