We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior People Business Partner with expertise in M&A or Growth environments to join our People team. This role is crucial in shaping the future of our hospital and diagnostic centres as we embark on an exciting expansion journey.

As a Senior People Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted adviser to leaders across the Hospital and Diagnostic Centres, leading the implementation of people plans and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives to drive sustainable performance, regulatory excellence, and a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing

* Collaborate with the Associate HR Director to develop and implement project plans aligned with our growth agenda and the broader BUPA people strategy.
* Lead and support large-scale people initiatives, business integration, and transformation programmes and identify new projects that respond to the dynamic growth environment.
* Serve as a data ambassador – utilising key data and dashboards to analyse trends and present meaningful information that supports informed decision‑making.
* Advise senior leaders on talent management, project delivery, succession planning, and workforce planning.
* Partner with the Business Partnering team on key projects, ensuring timely execution, oversight, and adherence to schedules.
* Act as a point of contact and consultant for the Partnering team.
* Work alongside the Learning Business Partner to design and deliver organisational development programmes, Training Needs Analysis, and identify additional learning initiatives.
* Respond quickly to business needs and initiate relevant projects or programmes as required.
* Lead and support major people initiatives and transformation programmes.
* Integrate people risk and conduct frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Advise key resource groups or networks within the hospital and diagnostic group.
* Collaborate closely with specialist HR teams to provide high‑impact people services.
* Promote employee engagement and wellbeing throughout the organisation.
* Drive performance management, talent development, and leadership growth.
* Attend key group Bupa project meetings and calls, communicate key updates, and own action allocation to the Cromwell people team.
* Deputise and cover for the Associate HR Director where required.

What We're Looking For

* Experience in a senior HR business partnering role within a regulated, complex environment.
* Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead people strategies across diverse teams.
* Ability to work collaboratively with the Cromwell people team, deploy skill and resources where needed on people projects, and demonstrate effective leadership and management of HR professionals.
* Flexibility – the ability to quickly adapt to change, manage multiple projects and programmes of work, and reprioritise as needed.
* Responsive to business needs, change, and proactive in initiating new programmes of work when required.
* Enthusiasm for data, analysis, and using data to drive decision‑making.
* Expertise across the full HR spectrum, including talent management, rewards, engagement, inclusion, and organisational design.
* Ability to work independently.
* Commercially aware with a customer‑focused mindset and strong judgement.
* CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
