We have a great opportunity for a part-time plant area assistant in our popular local independent garden centre based in Ashtead, near Epsom. You will be supporting the plant manager and team in daily tasks such as providing excellent customer service, maintenance and care of plants including watering, taking deliveries, assisting with stock purchase and administration of orders, merchandising beautiful displays and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Some heavy lifting will be required and you will be working outdoors in all weathers. You will also be trained to operate the tills. Good communication skills and teamwork are essential. We'd like you to start ASAP ready for the busy Christmas period.
Part-time, 3 days per week including alternate weekends from October-February with the possibility of up to 5 days per week from March to September.
