Plant Operative - OCL Regeneration

Scope
OCL operates aggregate and (CDM) recycling centres. We specialise in the intake of bituminous wastes to be used in our own sustainable alternatives to traditional asphalt. We also recycle all other types of construction and demolition waste with our crushers, screeners and mixers to create value-added surfacing materials and aggregates.
We are looking to recruit a Plant Operative to work as a multi skilled member of the existing team.
Duties will involve, driving the loading shovel and excavator, training can be provided. Weighbridge clerk; Crushing & screening.
The Plant Operative is also responsible for logistics and accurate record keeping of wastes in and materials out. This role is the first point of contact for clients and visitors, so we are seeking someone who is approachable, personable and welcoming at all times.
The Avonmouth depot is a small team, so the successful candidate will value teamwork and is prepared to provide support across core tasks when needed.

Desirable Skills and Experience (not essential):
* Previous experience in an aggregate's depot or recycling depot
* Weighbridge experience

Responsibilities
* Managing the intake of waste and dispatch of products for the recycling depot
* Booking and programming haulage
* Ordering constituents as and when required
* Taking card payments and banking
* Sub-contractor and visitor management
* Operating plant machinery
