As a Welder Fitter, you will design, modify and maintain mechanical equipment on site. Your work will focus on delivering safe, hygienic and reliable engineering solutions that keep production running smoothly.
Welder Fitter Responsibilities:
1. Carry out mechanical repairs, fabrication and welding to minimise breakdowns
2. Support rapid response to engineering faults across production lines
3. Create and maintain CAD drawings for reference and future projects
4. Machine parts for stock to reduce dependence on external suppliers
5. Complete preventative maintenance and quality assurance checks
6. Inspect equipment and diagnose potential issues before failure
7. Prioritise and complete work assignments quickly and efficiently
