Are you an experienced Fire Risk Assessor looking for a secure, long-term role within a respected in-house Fire Safety team?
This leading housing association is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor / Fire Safety Officer to deliver high-quality FRAs and support compliance across a diverse residential property portfolio.
The Role
As the Fire Risk Assessor, you will:
* Carry out Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across high-rise blocks, low-rise buildings, sheltered schemes, community centres and street properties.
* Manage your programme of FRAs across North East London, working independently and responding to day-to-day fire safety queries.
* Liaise with internal teams, residents, contractors and the Fire Service to ensure fire safety actions are understood and completed.
* Typically complete 1–2 days per week on site, with the rest home-based for reporting, analysis and follow-up.
* Support the wider team by contributing to QA, mentoring and developing fire safety processes.

What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 or 4 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety Management
* Experience working as a Fire Risk Assessor in residential or sleeping-risk environments
* Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with residents and internal teams
* Self-motivated, organised and confident managing a busy caseload
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
