The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) will host the EGOS (European Group for Organisational Studies) Colloquium in July 2027, welcoming thousands of international delegates.
Role Overview
To ensure the successful planning and delivery of this major event, we are seeking an Events Administrator to provide administrative, logistical and operational support to assist in the planning and delivery of the event. The postholder will report to the Events Officer aligned to the Management School within the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences and will support the planning and delivery of the EGOS 2027 Colloquium.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the appointed Professional Conference Organiser (PCO), the EGOS Executive Secretariat, ULMS academic leads, and internal university services (Corporate Events, Commercial Services, Estates & Facilities, IT, Finance, and Accommodation).
* Provide administrative, logistical and operational support to ensure clear communication, accurate information flow, and coordinated delivery across multiple partners.
* Prepare and maintain event‑related documentation and calendars.
* Assist in venue arrangements, catering, and accommodation coordination.
* Coordinate with related departments to arrange equipment, IT support, and other event‑specific needs.
* Support the management of event budgets and financial reporting.
* Ensure timely delivery of event deliverables while meeting quality and compliance standards.
* Provide support during the event, including evening and weekend work as required; TOIL applies.
