Job Description of a Nurse Practitioner Job in Portsmouth
To be considered for this Nurse practitioner role in Portsmouth you must have experience working with professional health care. You must also be registered as Registered Nurse and passed a national NP Board Certification Exam. We are currently looking for several Nurse practitioners in Portsmouth to come and fill one of the growing medical care.
Duties of a Nurse Practitioner
* Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
* Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
* Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
* Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
* Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, and counseling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Skills & Experience of a Nurse Practitioner
To be successful in the role, you will:
* Have recent experience in acute/primary care nursing
* Be competent in telephone advice and also triage service
* Have recent experience of face-to-face patient care
* Have Nurse Practitioner experience or evidence of independent practice
Qualifications
* RGN
* Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
* Recognised Minor Illness. Injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
* Recognised Nurse Practitioner Qualification
