Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Secondary School (Solihull, B90)- January 2026 Start A welcoming and high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Solihull (B90) is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. Rate of pay: £90-95 (per day, dependent upon experience) About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students aged 11–16 in the classroom, helping them engage with learning Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support to individuals and small groups Provide focused intervention sessions on a 1:1 and small group basis to enhance learning and development Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment Provide additional help to students who may need extra guidance or encouragement or those with special educational needs Ideal Candidate We are looking for applicants who: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in another supportive role within a care or education-based setting Are patient, proactive, and committed to supporting young people Can build positive relationships with students and staff Have strong communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) is beneficial, but not essential A genuine interest in education and student development Previous experience in a T A/LSA role is beneficial, but not essential Why Join Us?
