Working across a diverse and complex landscape, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with communities and partners, and influence how we engage with people both on and off our properties. The North & West Lake District Landscapes Portfolio is rich in heritage and natural beauty, and we’re committed to making it accessible and relevant to everyone.You’ll take a people-first approach, putting the needs and voices of communities at the heart of our plans. You’ll build trusted relationships, develop partnerships, and support colleagues to work more collaboratively with communities. You’ll champion inclusive engagement, remove barriers to access, and test new approaches to participation. Your work will help shape how the National Trust delivers public benefit and inspires civic action.Working across the North & West Lake District Landscapes area, you'll help deliver different approaches to community dependent on their ambitions and needs. You will need to have strong organisational skills to prioritise and deliver work across a geographically spread area, and a positive and open communication style to engage and work with a broad range of people - community members, partners, NT colleagues and volunteers.The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
