* We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst with a degree-level education in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Economics) or equivalent hands-on experience in a senior data or analytical role. You should possess strong experience in data analysis and visualisation, particularly using Power BI, Excel, and SQL. You need to have hands-on knowledge of predictive modelling techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, or forecasting, and familiarity with Python or R would be a bonus. Experience with cloud-based data environments like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is essential. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of data governance principles around quality, security, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
* As our Lead Data Analyst, you will lead analytical projects across the organisation, from strategic forecasting to service reviews. You will build and deploy predictive models to anticipate demand, reduce risk, and plan for the future. Collaboration is key, as you will work with colleagues to support smarter decisions through data. You will also support the design and delivery of the broader data strategy and transformation journey. Mentoring junior analysts is an important part of this role, as we aim to build a capable internal analytics team while promoting a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will assist the Data Governance team in driving high-quality data standards across the business.
