A Sales Support Specialist will conduct research, input data, assist with CRM, aid in creating marketing content, assist with quoting, write proposals, create reports and other related tasks. This position is responsible for helping customers, prospects and sales staff through the sales process. They will help coordinate events, conduct research, create decks or presentations, and perform research on prospects, competitors or customers.
Responsibilities
* Communicate with customers to resolve issues and assist customers on behalf of the sales staff
* Ordering new materials for the sales staff, as needed
* Identifies, attends and supports trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions to sell the services the company provides
* Participate in multiple facets of the sales process including preparing materials and attending both internal and outside meetings; to include customers, prospects, other departments internally, in addition to the sales team
* Providing pricing assistance and fulfilling any pricing inquiries as needed
* Assisting sales staff with calling, scheduling, meetings and following up with customers or prospects to ensure they are on track to meet quotas
* Assisting Sales Executives with proposals or sales presentations as required
* Completing necessary administrative and marketing work including filing reports, sending emails, utilizing the CRM, necessary search engines, updating social media and websites
* Assist with contract and audit preparations
