Role Purpose
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing and curating critical master data updates. The role ensures data accuracy, consistency and reliability, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to execute tasks within agreed SLAs and KPIs across Finance, Customer, Vendor, Material and Product data domains.
Key Accountabilities
* Master Data Management
o Execute requests for creation, updates or changes to master data in the appropriate systems
o Ensure that data updates are consistently and accurately undertaken across all relevant systems
o Engage with stakeholders as needed to gather incomplete data and ensure that required fields are entered
o Inform requestor and key stakeholders of request status as appropriate
o Verify and correct master data information prior to syndication when obvious errors are identified
o Create emergency items and follow up, managing escalations and exceptions
o Plan mass update projects and estimate time to execute
o Execute mass maintenance requests as directed by MDM Manager
o Liaise closely with data end users throughout the organisation as appropriate
o Support business review processes as appropriate
o First‑time‑right focus with attention to detail ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with Greencore policy requirements
* Query Resolution
o Resolve data discrepancies, anomalies and inconsistencies reported by stakeholders or identified during data quality checks
o Correspond with MDM Manager if further escalation on queries is required
* Audit & Internal Control
o Support internal and external audits as required
o Adhere to all documented procedures, internal controls, governance and policy requirements at all times
* Communication and Change Management
o Offer support to team members and actively contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing team culture
o Identify continuous improvement opportunities based on role accountabilities
o Cultivate effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
o Engage with the MDM Manager on MDM‑related updates, issues, progress and challenges
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
* Demonstrable track record of working in similar Master Data teams
* Knowledge of departmental functions, terminology and interrelationships for data types
* Previous experience with SAP S/4 HANA ERP systems (preferred)
* Working knowledge of core finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R)
* Ability to manage time effectively, meet tight deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple tasks
* Ability to identify and elevate unstructured and ad‑hoc issues
* Excellent service‑delivery attitude toward internal clients and suppliers
* Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment, open to change and contributing positively to growth
* First‑time‑right focus with attention to detail ensuring compliance with Greencore policy requirements
