Head of Commercial - Partnering and Solutions
Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for 9 Months
Location : Remote working with monthly (and when required for meetings) visits to Leeds or London offices
Salary £88,168 - £101,677 plus benefits and holiday
As a Head of Commercial, you will lead and work as part of a dynamic team to support the organisations commercial requirements. You will play a senior leadership role business partnering on procurement projects with key stakeholders and supporting the development of commercial pipelines to aid business planning, as well as delivering successful commercial outcomes. You will also be leading on significant commercial projects to develop the commercial strategy which delivers optimum value to the organisation.You will be expected to work as part of a wider team, manage projects, manage senior stakeholders and manage third party suppliers as part of your role.
Leading commercial, and operational procurement teams through complex, and often high value projects to identify suppliers and procurement processes for a broad product and services areas.
Working as part of a wider team, you will manage complex, high value projects, manage large groups of stakeholders and manage third party suppliers.
This is a senior level role, however due to the temporary nature there will not be line management responsibility.
Requirements:
Background in the public sector, leading complex procurement/commercial projects.
Proven track record of managing senior stakeholder groups.
Developing and implementing project plans and procurement strategy.
Experience of leading a public procurement process.
