Whether you’re a qualified teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT), or an Unqualified Teacher (UQ) gaining valuable experience, this role offers excellent professional growth within a supportive Science department.
About the Role:
Join a vibrant Science team that values collaboration, creativity, and excellence. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and subject expertise (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Support curriculum development and lead extracurricular STEM activities such as clubs, competitions, and trips
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent engagement events
• Work collaboratively to support whole-school improvement goals
Who We’re Looking For:
• Qualified teacher (QTS), ECT, or UQ with a strong Science background
• Passionate about inspiring and motivating students in Science
• Strong subject knowledge and dedication to high academic standards
• Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous professional development
Note: Applications from unqualified candidates with relevant experience who are interested in teacher training towards QTS are welcome.
