Nicholas Associates are working with a leading civil engineering contractor who provide groundworks, infrastructure, roads & sewers services to Top 100 House Builders across the UK.
The company are recruiting a Project Engineer to manage large-scale infrastructure / 278 Works project in the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attending programme meetings
* Liaising with Local Authorities and Highways Agency to sign off 278 work agreements
* Setting out roads, infrastructure, 278 Works
* Supervising Junior Site Engineers
* QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
* Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams
* Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site
Requirements:
* BSc or HNC in Civil Engineering (not essential)
* Previous experience on residential groundworks, infrastructure, 278 Works projects
* Proficient with setting out equipment
* Leica machine control experience and creating models
* Proficient in cad software (not essential)
* Full UK driving licence
