Electrical Engineer Power Generation Excellent salary on offer generous benefits package including bonus and private medical Nottingham area Intro A leading organisation within the energy, process, and heavy-industrial sector is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a modern, high-performance power generation facility. As the Electrical Engineer, youll oversee electrical maintenance across the plant. In addition you will lead a small team, manage planned and reactive maintenance, support outages, ensure compliance, and keep the plant operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of electrical and controls technicians Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on HV/LV, EC&I and associated plant Diagnose faults on PLCs, DCS, RIO and instrumentation systems Manage contractors, permit systems, and safe systems of work Support shutdowns, outages and long-term maintenance planning Maintain compliance including CEMS, environmental standards and statutory requirements Assist with CMMS planning, spares control and improvement projects Drive root cause analysis and reliability initiatives Provide technical reports, documentation and support for future CAPEX needs What Were Looking For HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or similar Background in power generation, energy-from-waste, heavy industrial, manufacturing, chemical, utilities or similar environments Strong understanding of HV/LV systems, electrical or EC&I maintenance Experience leading or supervising engineering teams Able to read P&IDs, technical drawings and electrical schematics Confident with diagnostics, troubleshooting and outage planning Competent with IT systems and CMMS Whats on Offer Excellent basic salary A performance related bonus Overtime paid at 1.5x Private medical cover Pension Flexible working Long-term career growth in a future-focused sector To apply If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Steve at SCINERGY Recruitment on the contact info below Phone - 07441 955 901
