Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities include leading on the delivery and development of key workstreams within the Quality Improvement Programme:

The post holder will operationally line manage the Quality Improvement (QI) team and lead on the development and delivery of Breakthrough Objectives and organisational Strategic Initiatives.
The Head of Quality Improvement will provide expertise to support high-quality, effective, and efficient programmes that drive continuous improvements. This role also involves managing a broad portfolio of improvement activities and fostering an organisational culture where quality improvement is integral to all staff roles.
The postholder will have a passion and drive for building the culture, conditions, and capability for continuous improvement.

Qualifications
* Degree in health/social care, improvement, change management, or similar
* QI qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience with project and programme management techniques
Experience
* Leading and delivering complex change and strategy programmes in sensitive environments
* Understanding of Improvement Science and methods like Improvement Kata, Lean, PDSA, and process mapping
* Experience in partnership working and organizational change management
* Proven involvement in front-line quality improvement initiatives
* Ability to teach and present quality metrics effectively
