We are seeking a Premises Manager to join our team at Everest Community Academy, part of Bourne Education Trust.
As Premises Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of the school’s property and assets. You will ensure clear and proactive communication regarding premises and site-related matters, provide strong leadership to premises staff and contractors, and uphold the safety and security of the school site. Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance of buildings, machinery, and plant equipment, ensuring all operations are delivered within budget.

Details
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: working rotating shifts. 37 hours per week across 52 weeks per year, between 7:00am and 8:00pm, with additional on-call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities
* Maintain a programme of site testing and inspections to ensure statutory compliance
* Identify issues quickly by carrying out regular inspections of all indoor and outdoor areas, providing written reports/action plans as required
* Line Manage other premises colleagues, planning and allocating work as appropriate
* Manage the security of the school, including locking and unlocking
Requirements
* An awareness and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
* Full Driving licence
* D1 category licence
* Experience of working within an educational setting
