Transport Planner Domestic Groupage (Pallet Network)
Location: Purfleet
Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:0022:00
Salary: £35,000 £38,000 per annum
We are recruiting an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy domestic groupage operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong pallet network experience and a solid understanding of pallet weights, metrics, and load optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning efficient daily routes for groupage deliveries
* Load planning and pallet allocation using weight and metric calculations
* Communicating with drivers, customers, and operational teams
* Ensuring deliveries run smoothly and meet customer expectations
* Responding to issues and making real-time decisions
* Maintaining accurate records and working within compliance guidelines
Requirements:
? Previous experience within a pallet planning environment
? Strong understanding of pallet weights, sizes, and loading metrics
? Confident with route planning and multi-drop operations
? Excellent communication skills (drivers & customers)
