Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering - £35,000 – £44,000 - Flexible / Hybrid Opportunities Benefits The Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering to join a highly respected specialist education provider within the land based sector. This role would suit an experienced agricultural engineering professional or educator looking to inspire the next generation of engineers and agricultural specialists. The successful candidate will deliver engaging teaching and learning experiences, combining industry expertise with educational excellence to support learner achievement, progression and career development. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high quality teaching across agricultural engineering and mechanisation programmes - Support learners in achieving excellent academic and practical outcomes - Develop engaging lesson plans and learning activities that reflect current industry practices - Encourage student interest and enthusiasm for engineering, machinery and agricultural technology - Monitor, assess and accurately record learner progress - Provide effective learner support and guidance to maximise achievement - Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and industry partners to enhance curriculum delivery - Maintain compliance with quality assurance, safeguarding and health and safety requirements - Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives where required The Company Our client is an established and highly regarded specialist education provider with a strong reputation for delivering industry focused education and training. The Candidat - Significant industry experience within agricultural engineering, mechanisation, machinery maintenance, agricultural technology or a related field - Passion for developing future agricultural and engineering professionals - Previous teaching, training, coaching or mentoring experience desirable, although not essential - Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one with full employer support - Relevant qualifications in agricultural engineering, engineering, agriculture or a related discipline - Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills - Ability to engage and motivate learners with varying levels of experience and ability - Strong relationship building skills with colleagues, employers and industry stakeholders - Enthusiastic, approachable and committed to delivering high-quality education and training The Package - Salary of £27,119 – £44,227 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience - Permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week - Flexible and hybrid working opportunities - Generous annual leave entitlement - Competitive pension scheme - Employee wellbeing and assistance programmes - Professional development and training opportunities - Employee discount schemes - Access to on-site fitness facilities - Cycle to work scheme - Enhanced family-friendly leave policies - Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme Please note that the successful applicant will be subject to appropriate pre-employment screening, including an enhanced DBS check and other relevant employment checks in accordance with safeguarding requirements.
