Overview
Restaurant General Manager – Full Time 40 Hours Per Week – Fully Flexible, Including Weekends.
Responsibilities
* Oversee staff and ensure the business operation runs smoothly.
* Handle escalated customer queries and grievances.
* Work weekends as required and manage a hands-on team with strong communication.
* Promote excellent customer service and pro-actively develop the business.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing a busy restaurant and large team.
* 2 years Management experience; managerial experience.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Communication and team management abilities.
* Good IT skills – Excel and Word.
* Level 2/3 food hygiene

Duties will include
* The smooth running of the department with diligence, discipline and trust.
* Ensuring the integrity & security of the tills and Till area.
* Ensuring all relevant risk & COSHH assessments have been completed and control measures followed.
* Monitoring ongoing operations and resolving issues promptly.
* Identifying and tending to/reporting all issues relating to your produce or the team quickly and efficiently.
* Ensuring all colleagues & customers are dealt with in a professional, respectful and attentive fashion.
* Identifying opportunities to improve sales with good value, high quality, consistent and unique produce.
* Identifying and reporting/tending to maintenance issues in your department.
* Identifying and reporting/tending to Health & Safety issues.
* Be aware of and manage all Food hygiene requirements.
* Ensuring all the Company fixtures and fittings are looked after.
* Ensuring all Company Property including machinery, equipment, retail stock and non-retail items for colleague use is looked after and used correctly.
* Empowering and developing yourself and your team to their full potential with encouragement and training.
