Responsibilities
* Lead a team to inspect, test, and commission submarine systems, ensuring safety and performance.
* Design and authorize safe isolations for intrusive work on submarine systems.
* Research and approve technical documentation to support commissioning activities.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, engineering quality, and nuclear standards.
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and line management to Commissioning Engineers.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of commissioning principles and isolation methodologies.
* Experience with submarine operations or maintenance.
* Extensive background in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Constructive/Naval Architecture).
* Proficiency in interpreting technical system drawings and documentation.
* Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. Eligibility may be affected by place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
