Our client, a leading and well-established accountancy practice, is seeking ambitious graduates to join their team as Trainee Accountants. The Role
As a Graduate Trainee Accountant, you will gain exposure across audit, accounts, and tax, building the technical and commercial skills required for a successful career in accountancy. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, receive structured training, and develop your client-facing skills from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and financial statements
* Supporting audit assignments across a variety of industries
* Assisting with tax compliance work and client queries
* Preparing working papers and ensuring deadlines are met
* Carrying out research and analysis to support advisory projects
* Building professional relationships with both clients and colleagues
Candidate Profile
* Recent graduate (or final-year student) with strong academic results (2:1 degree or above preferred; all disciplines considered, finance-related advantageous)
* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn
* Committed to undertaking ACA/ACCA training and qualification
