Overview
We are seeking a Project & Quality Engineer to support the delivery of wind turbine installation and associated civil construction projects. This role is responsible for providing project coordination, quality assurance, inspections, documentation control, and technical support to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client specifications and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
* Support wind turbine installation and associated civil construction projects
* Coordinate quality assurance, inspections, and compliance activities
* Manage project documentation, reporting, and document control systems
* Support MCC activities, project planning, scheduling, and contract administration
* Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
* Assist with technical coordination, heavy lift planning, and turbine installation activities
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements
* Participate in site inspections, toolbox meetings, and safety initiatives as required
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years’ relevant construction industry experience
* Experience with quality assurance systems, inspections, and project documentation processes
* Full NZ Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements (Class 2 or 4, WTR) or ability to convert an overseas license to NZ requirements
* Strong understanding of construction quality processes and compliance requirements
* Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test and pre‑employment medical
