Materials Planner My client is a leading Manufacturer based in Belfast. They are currently seeking a Materials Planner to join their team. This is a Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract until February 2027. Working hours: Mon to Thurs 9am-5.30pm and Fri 9am-3pm With a salary of £30,000 to £33,000 per annum. Closing date Friday 5th December. Job Purpose: You will be responsible for ensuring factory production is supported with required raw materials to maximise production efficiency. Manage key supplier relationships and performance KPIs to ensure factory is adequately stocked to meet demands. Essential Criteria: Recent relevant experienced within a similar role. Educated to A Level standard, or equivalent OR no formal qualifications but at least 2 years' experience within manufacturing business and a strong understanding of the Supply Chain Process. Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes. Proven analytical skills. IT proficient with good computer literacy across a range of packages. Ability to work at both macro and micro level, flexible and competent to alternate between high-level overview analysis and detail level data analysis. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, to include strong negotiation skills. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload. Flexibility to travel to other sites and locations as required to meet the demands of the job as well as working hours. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Converting output of supply plan to manage material to support production. Accurate interpretation of demand to create materials plan. Schedule supplier deliveries & manage call off requests to support production. Regular reporting of supplier constraints and potential risks to business. Provide what-if scenario planning to supply chain, operational and commercial teams. Work in partnership with suppliers to ensure lead times are accurate & support business needs. Own and maintain supplier master data to ensure EFI & print flow systems accurately reflect factory capability. Chair weekly supplier review meeting with key supply partners. Participate in daily production meeting & provide feedback on material risk. Track supplier deliveries and performance. Ensure all available supplier information is efficiently built into operational plans. Build relationships with key supply partners. Skills: material planner supply chain supply chain process
