The role
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering the chance to influence key initiatives across a complex and high-profile environment. You’ll partner with senior leaders, support change programmes, and ensure our workforce is equipped for the future. This is an opportunity to make a real impact while developing your expertise in a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.
Day-to-day, you’ll take a leading role in designing and delivering people strategies that drive organisational success.
1. Act as the HR representative in cross-functional forums, contributing to organisational priorities
2. Partner with senior leaders to design and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives
3. Support managers in planning and executing change initiatives
4. Lead strategic workforce planning to meet future skills and capability needs
5. Drive continuous improvement through progressive HR practices and initiatives.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Senior HR Business Partner
6. Significant HR experience within large or complex organisations
7. Proven track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
8. Ability to lead and support organisational change and performance improvement
9. Commercial awareness with capability to design pragmatic, business-focused solutions
10. Skilled at working through complexity with integrity, collaboration, and resilience
Qualifications for the Senior HR Business Partner
11. Degree or Level 7 HR qualification (or equivalent experience)
12. CIPD membership and recent CPD (preferred)
