Support Learning Every Day as Learning Support Assistant
GSL Education is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work within supportive school settings in Sudbury. If you’re passionate about student progress and inclusive education, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and group support for students with additional needs
• Help create a positive and structured learning environment
• Support teachers in managing classroom activities and behaviour
• Assist with learning resources and planning
• Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best
What You'll Need to Succeed:
• Experience supporting learners in a classroom or SEN environment
• A nurturing and proactive attitude
• Reliable and confident in handling varied classroom needs
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
