Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Architectural Technologist to join our design team. Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Documentation

Translate conceptual and schematic architectural designs into comprehensive working drawings, construction details, and specifications.

Produce detailed 2D drawings and complex 3D BIM models using software such as Revit or ArchiCAD.

Conduct thorough quality control checks on technical documentation to minimize errors and omissions before contract bidding and construction.

Compliance & Contract Administration

Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building regulations, planning policies, health and safety legislation, and environmental sustainability standards.

Prepare and submit applications for planning permission and building regulations approval.

Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and evaluate incoming contractor bids.

Collaboration & Site Support

Coordinate and integrate design components with structural engineers, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) consultants, and other specialist contractors.

Advise the design team on material selection, construction methods, and building performance metrics (such as thermal efficiency and acoustics).

Attend site meetings to review construction progress, resolve unexpected on-site technical issues, and ensure compliance with design intent
