SEND Teaching Assistant – Early Years & KS1 ASD Support
Location: Croydon, South London
Start Date: 7th July 2025
Contract: Temporary (7th–18th July) - with potential for a long-term role in September
Salary: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)

GSL Education London are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Croydon, supporting a group of 10 students from Reception and Key Stage 1 within a specialised ASD intervention space.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a setting that prioritises empathy, patience, and understanding—working with children with complex needs, many of whom are pre-verbal and require support beyond the classroom.
About the Role:
* Support a small group of Reception and KS1 children with ASD and complex communication needs.
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions in a purpose-built space designed to meet the sensory and emotional needs of learners.
* Assist with light personal care (, helping with redressing or wiping—no nappies).
* Initially from 7th to 18th July, with strong potential to continue into a long-term role in September.

* Experience in EYFS or SEND settings is essential.
