Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Alcohol and Drug Recovery Team
Location: Inverclyde
Rate: £35.00
An exciting job role has recently become available in Inverclyde. They are looking for a new member for their Alcohol and Drug Recovery Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will provide a social work service to identified individuals, families, and groups within the community, carried out within the framework of relevant legislation, council policy, and procedures. You will provide appropriate advice and guidance to individuals, families, and groups in accordance with service policy and procedure. You will conduct robust assessments of need, risk, and strength, resulting in a person-centred care plan. You will liaise with appropriate agencies, services, and disciplines on behalf of service users. You will carry a caseload under direct professional supervision and record all work undertaken in accordance with service instructions, ensuring recording systems are used appropriately for input and reporting purposes. Good record-keeping is an essential function of the role. You will accept responsibility for professional development through participation in supervision and attendance at appropriate training events.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
To be eligible for this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
