We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants / Support Workers to join our welcoming SEN schools in the Tadworth area. You will support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), brain injuries/trauma, mobility impairment, and a range of complex physical and learning needs.
About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant / Support Worker, you will play a vital role in both the educational and personal development of pupils. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you will help deliver tailored learning while providing essential care and emotional support.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom, adapting activities to meet individual needsAssisting with sensory learning, communication strategies, and structured routinesProviding personal care, including feeding, changing, and toiletingSupporting pupils with physical needs, including the safe use of mobility aids or hoists (training provided)Promoting independence, life skills, and social developmentEncouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeingHelping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environmentAbout YouWe are looking for individuals who are:
