Field Service Technician | Print Finishing Equipment | Yorkshire | Up to £50k
A well‑established provider of print finishing and post‑press solutions, the business supplies a wide range of specialist equipment and services to customers throughout the UK. Supporting commercial print, packaging, and digital print environments, the company offers innovative technologies designed to improve production efficiency, automation, and output quality, helping customers maximise the performance and reliability of their finishing operations.
You will be responsible for:
* Installing and commissioning new machinery at customer sites, ensuring equipment is fully operational and meets customer requirements
* Delivering operator training to customers, providing guidance on machine operation, maintenance, and best practices
* Servicing, fault‑finding, repairing, and maintaining equipment to maximise performance and reliability
* Supporting the continued growth of the business through the installation, maintenance, and support of a diverse portfolio of print finishing solutions
* Providing technical support and advice to customers, building strong relationships and delivering a high standard of service
Key attributes required:
* Qualified in a mechanical and/or electrical engineering discipline, with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new technologies and equipment
* Excellent fault‑finding, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
* Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the business professionally at customer sites
* Highly organised, IT literate, and professional in approach
* Flexible and self‑motivated, holding a full clean UK driving licence and willing to travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays when required
