Welsh-Speaking Nursery Teaching Assistant Wanted – Pontypridd!

Pay: £89 – £100 per day (paid weekly)

Are you a friendly, confident Welsh speaker who enjoys helping little learners flourish? Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring and proactive Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive Welsh-medium nursery setting in the Pontypridd area this January.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work with children aged 3–4 as they begin their early learning journey through the medium of Welsh, helping them play, explore, and grow in a nurturing environment.
Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting the Nursery Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and fun Welsh-medium learning environment
* Delivering one-to-one and small group support in Welsh
* Assisting with play-based activities that support early development
* Helping with personal care routines when needed
* Encouraging confidence, independence, and social skills
* Supporting children during both indoor and outdoor learning
What We’re Looking For:
* Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)
* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
* A proactive, hands-on approach to supporting young children
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working with nursery-aged children (desirable but not essential)
