Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher looking for a rewarding role in Upper Key Stage 2? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Year 6 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Litherland, Liverpool on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave.
About the Role
* Year Group: Year 6
* Days: Tuesday to Friday
* Duration: Until the end of the maternity period (likely July 2026)
* Responsibilities:
o Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
o Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and SATs.
o Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
o Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6.
* Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
* Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
