We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a leading organisation on a 3-month fixed-term contract to start ASAP. The role is based in Hemel Hempstead and focuses on delivering key HR support and advice to the business.

This is an opportunity to join a respected, nationally renowned organisation based in Hemel Hempstead. The company is a medium-sized enterprise, known for its commitment to operational excellence and delivering high-quality services to its clients. Due to continued growth they are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join them initially on a 3 month FTC basis with possibility for extension. The ideal candidate will be well versed with the employee lifecycle, in particular being able to manage a high volume of employee relations cases from end to end. The role is based on site in Hemel Hempstead full time.
Description
* Provide comprehensive HR advice and support to managers and employees in line with company policies and procedures.
* Assist with employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
* Support recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new employees.
* Ensure HR records are accurate and up-to-date, maintaining compliance with GDPR regulations.
* Advise on employment law and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, supporting organisational goals and objectives.
* Monitor and report on HR metrics to support data‑driven decision‑making.
* Provide guidance on training and development opportunities to enhance employee performance.
Profile
* A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
* Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
* Live locally to Hemel Hempstead.
