We're looking for a Training Assessor to join our Highways team. In this role you will be responsible for conducting site inspections and assessments of Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) registered operatives ensuring full compliance with National Highway Sector Scheme 8 standards. Due to the nature of this role a driving licence is an essential requirement.

Location: Nationwide - site visits required in Birmingham 2 - 3 days per week

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.



What will you be responsible for?

As a Training Assessor, you'll be responsible for evaluating technical competence, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained, and promoting continuous improvement across the highway electrical sector.

Your day to day will include:

* Conduct site inspections and assessments for HERS registered operatives
* Ensure compliance with NHSS 8 standards and requirements
* Build and maintain HERS portfolios and complete NVQ workbooks
* Address and rectify portfolio non-conformances
* Carry out Internal NHSS8 audits and support external audits



What are we looking for?

This role of Training Assessor is great if you have:

* Experience and technical knowledge in the highway electrical sector
* Knowledge of NHSS 8 and HERS
* Willingness to travel across the UK
