An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a growing and forward-thinking team based in the North West. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, helping clients navigate the planning process from initial concept through to planning consent.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality development schemes across a range of sectors, working closely with clients, consultants, local authorities, and stakeholders to create sustainable and successful outcomes.
This position would suit someone who is passionate about planning, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative environment where no two projects are the same.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing planning applications and appeals
* Supporting development projects from conception to consent
* Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
* Preparing planning statements and reports
* Navigating planning policy and regulations
* Contributing to the delivery of sustainable and commercially successful schemes
What We’re Looking For
* Experience within town planning or development planning
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
* RTPI accredited or working towards chartership is desirable
