Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Location: Blackpool, Lancashire Contract Type: Full Time, Term-Time Only Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class at a primary school on the Fylde Coast. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for all students, particularly those with SEN. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Help create an inclusive classroom environment where all children feel supported and engaged. Work closely with other staff members, including SENCOs, to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and track progress. Support with personal care and mobility needs where necessary.
